What we are all about...
Traditional chineseWe currently stock a selection of contemporary children's books that are in traditional Chinese. These would be ideal for parents looking for Cantonese Children's books. It is very difficult to access the latest books that are being offered back in South East Asian Countries. Additionally, simplified Chinese books are more widely available than those written in the traditional format. We offer recently published books that are being enjoyed by local children in countries such as Hong Kong and Taiwan. These books feature in book stores like Eslite and Page One. We also stock workbooks that do not teach the language specifically, but is ideal for little ones to become familiar with reading instructions in Chinese.

Our PurposeWe find that the value of a book is sometimes immeasurable when teaching a child multiple languages. Watching a child flick through the pages of a book to get to a picture or a word they are searching for, which is in their minority language, is wonderfully gratifying. It is largely accepted that to teach a child multiple languages, you need to expose them to the language. The problem is finding a book store who sells foreign language books is near impossible, unless you live in a big city but even so, these books are usually old fashioned and fairly boring. Even the online stores available hardly cater for UK Cantonese Chinese parents. Our purpose to provide a good selection of books to help teach Chinese to young children.
